This page gives an outline of our intended volunteer day coming up on the John o’ Groats Trail through Spring and into Summer.
We will undoubtedly add to this as and when jobs arise, and I will email specifically about certain tasks. More specialist tasks such as construction of stiles do require a limited number of people as there is less to occupy a larger group. If you have any specific skills then we would really like to hear from you. One particular job will require some walling – I have that pencilled in for Monday 27th May.
Most of the path clearing days will be in the form of a walk with a purpose rather than a full on work day. As a result we will probably park and walk, so will require transport at each end of a route.
Timings and locations may change in the lead up to the event, therefore indicating your interest in advance is essential. If you are interested in helping on any of these days, please contact the Ranger, Jim on email@example.com
