Stages of the Trail

The walk is divided into stages that can each be walked in a day. Most stages begin and end where food, drink, shops, and accommodation can be found.

Each stage is given a colour status (green, amber, or red) to reflect the progress of works. Hover over the blue button for each stage below to reveal the status colour. See the right sidebar for colour meanings. The red exclamation mark symbol ( ! ) means that there is an important alert regarding that stage - details can be found at the top of the stage page.

Accommodation

Accommodation is listed on the stage pages for any accommodation that is in unique locations between stage ends that are useful to trail walkers. We do not have time to maintain listings for accommodation in towns where multiple accommodations are available. If you would like your business to be listed here, please get in touch.
