Latheronwheel Cliffs

Beginning in June 2026, this site south of Latheronwheel Harbour is being managed for nature restoration.  The landowner is working with ANTS and the local community to keep the JoGT open and improve site access for all walkers, as well as bring back native species.

Some important species of plants are to be found on the site, such as Wild Thyme and Bird’s Foot Trefoil.  We are looking for ways to encourage the regrowth of these species, including no longer grazing sheep on the land.  We intend to take our time to study the site and any changes will be gradual.

If you would like to support our work on the site, please donate here.  If you would like, you can specify that you would like your donation to go towards nature restoration at Latheronwheel Cliffs.
